Greg and his wife Danielle have been attending Heritage since 2004 and both came to saving faith in Christ while hearing the book of James being preached there. They have been married since 1999 and have 3 sons, who have grown up attending Heritage. Greg was born and raised in Albuquerque, and he and his family have lived here ever since, with a five year stop in Florida. Greg has been in the construction industry since 1991 and recently left to take on the role of Youth Pastor at Heritage. He desires to see Christ and His Word exalted and for God’s people to understand and apply the truths of the Gospel to their lives for their good and to the praise of God’s glory.
Pastor Jeff was ordained as a Pastor-Elder of Heritage in August 2019. He loves to teach and preach God’s word. Jeff has a heart for evangelism and helping others share the gospel. He is pursuing a MABS from The Masters University and an M.Div. from The Masters Seminary. He and his wife Kendra have been married for 25 years and have two daughters.
Pastor Terry has been a lay Pastor-Elder since 2010. He is retired and works part-time at Heritage doing janitorial work. He oversees Home Fellowships, Missions, and Bible Study ministries and is the facilitator for the Pastor-Elder meetings. Terry and his wife, Karen, have been married 47 years; they have 3 children and 10 grandchildren and have attended Heritage since 2004. He has a BA in Theology and Church Education and a M.Div. degree.
Pastor Shaan has been a Pastor-Elder at Heritage since 1998. He is one of our Pastors for Preaching and teaches the Adult Sinday School and the Tuesday Men’s Theology Bible Study. He oversees the Men’s and Women’s Ministry, Discipleship Ministry, and the Diaconate. He and his wife, Maxine, have been at Heritage since its inception in 1997 and long to see the church body joyfully worshipping the Lord, loving God with all their being and loving their neighbor as themselves.
Kyle Bamberg has been a deacon at Heritage since 2008. His deacon oversight includes the ushers and the benevolence ministry. He serves on the Adventurers Council and teaches in Adventurers on Wednesday nights. He and his wife Sydni, along with their four children, have attended Heritage since 2004.
Richard Collier has been a deacon at Heritage Christian Fellowship since 2006. He has served on the Adventurers Council, has been a teacher in that ministry and substitute teacher in Sunday School, and is involved in the Music Ministry, playing bass guitar. As a deacon, his primary responsibilities are over the benevolence ministry, the church’s policies and procedures, and the Music and Sound ministry.
Dave Plugge has been attending Heritage Christian Fellowship since 2006 and has been a deacon since 2008. As part of the Deacons ministry, he oversees Heritage IT and the ushers. He is married to LuAnne and they have a grown son, Matthew.
Carlos was hired as the Minister of Music at Heritage in August of 2019. As Minister of Music, Carlos leads the music during the Sunday and Wednesday services as well as on Friday nights for the Young Adult group. He and his wife, Virginia, have attended Heritage since June of 2019 and have been married for three years. Carlos studied Music Education at the University of New Mexico. Throughout his time there, he was blessed to learn over 8 different instruments. Carlos has his own private clinic of voice, guitar, and piano students that he also teaches throughout the week. He and his wife long to glorify God through meaningful expression of worship through song and prayer and desire to lead the family at Heritage into that same experience each Sunday.
LuAnne Plugge has been attending Heritage Christian Fellowship since 2006, and became the Ministry Assistant in 2015 where she enjoys serving the Lord in whatever way needed. She has been married to her best friend, Dave, for over 35 years, and the Lord blessed them with the gift of a son, Matthew, whom she had the privilege of homeschooling through high school. God has used Heritage to teach her a high view of Him enabling great growth in her Christian walk and she considers it a wonderful blessing to work at Heritage.
Karen Thomas is the office manager and bookkeeper and has been employed at Heritage since 2006. She and her husband, Terry, have attended Heritage since 2004. They have 3 grown children and 10 grandchildren. Karen loves to provide meals to those in need. She enjoys her job at Heritage and is very thankful for the opportunity to serve there.
