Stacking Chairs After Service – 8/9/26

ISI Luncheon – 8/13/26
Heritage is hosting an ISI luncheon this Thursday, August 13th. You can help by attending the luncheon to serve and/or contributing taco fixings for lunch. Please contact Connie Kelly for all information and to volunteer.
Proclaim Youth Ministry – 8/14/26
Proclaim Youth Ministry will meet on Friday, August 14th at Pastor Ben Gonzalez’s home. We look forward to seeing you all then.
Communion – 8/16/26
We will celebrate Communion next Sunday, August 16th. Please take time to prepare for this time of remembrance.
Women’s Ministry Dinner -8/20/26
Our monthly Women’s Ministry Dinner will be held on Thursday, August 20th, at 6:00pm, with dinner provided. Invitations have been sent out via Evite and Church Center. If you did not receive an invitation and would like to, please see LuAnne Plugge. All women are welcome to attend. Please provide for your own childcare.
Summer Fellowship – 8/23/26
Mark your calendars for our upcoming Summer Fellowship on Sunday, August 23rd, from 5:30-8:30pm. Much summer fun is planned, from a bouncy house and water balloon battleship game to face painting, a cookie baking contest, and ping-pong! We will grill hamburgers and hotdogs; please bring a side dish to share. Please see the insert in the bulletin for more information.
Care Team Training – 8/30/26
If you are part of Heritage’s Care Team Ministry or are interested in joining, there is an information/training session on Sunday, August 30th, from 9:30-10:15am. We have several ways to serve, so please join us to find out more! There is a sign-up sheet on the foyer table.
Short Term Missions Trip–SAVE THE DATE
Please consider joining us from October 8th-October 11th, 2026 for a Missions trip down to Mexico to help a church with outreach. We will be hosting a meal and a basketball clinic and also training church members in how to conduct a Tests for Treats outreach. Please see the insert in the bulletin for more information. If you are interested, please begin the process of getting your passport now to ensure you have it in time for the trip.
Helpers for Adventurers
Adventurers is in need of someone to teach the 3-5 year olds. Adventurer classes are Wednesday nights from 6:30pm-8pm, September through May. There is also a need for helpers for various Adventurer classes. Teachers and helpers must have attended Heritage for at least 6 months and be members. If you are interested in helping, please contact Kyle Bamberg.

Women’s Ministry Dinner – CANCELLED
Due to the travel and busy schedules of the four council members this month, we have decided to cancel the dinner for July 16th. We are sorry to cancel but look forward to a little rest this month.
Proclaim Youth Ministry – 7/17/26
Proclaim Youth Ministry will meet on Friday, July 17th at the Bamberg home. We look forward to seeing you all then.
Communion – 7/19/26

Bi-Monthly Business Meeting – CHANGED TO 7/21/26
Our Bi-Monthly Business Meeting will be held this Monday, July 20th, at 7:00pm in the Turquoise Room. Everyone is welcome to attend. Printouts are on the foyer table.
Men’s Retreat – 7/31/26 through 8/2/26
All men are invited to join us for our Men’s Retreat July 31st through August 2nd, 2026. We will be camping at the Jemez Mountains near San Gregorio Lake at our traditional HCF camp area. You may use a tent or a trailer to camp in. The cost is $25/person up to $75/family, although more than 3 children may sign up. This includes group dinners and a group breakfast on Sunday. There is a sign-up sheet on the foyer table. For any questions, please see Anthony Cook.
Maintenance Day – 8/8/26
Men and women of Heritage, please join us Saturday, August 8th, from 9:00am-12:00pm, as we meet to fix up and clean our church building and grounds. We have lots of service opportunities as we would like to work inside and outside, which will take many hands. Feel free to come and go as your schedule allows. If you are able to attend, please sign up at the foyer table.

Heritage uses the Church Center App from Planning Center as a church ministry organization system and a mobile directory. It enables all of us to more easily sign up to help in different ministries, do online giving, receive messages and invitations from ministries, and make a smooth check-in/check-out system for our children in any of the church’s children’s ministries.
